 Barry's father, Henry Feigenbaum, served as a towering influence in his life,  kindling a profound interest in the world of show business through his extensive network of friendships with an impressive roster of celebrities, including the iconic Frank Sinatra, a cornerstone of the legendary Rat Pack. From an early age, particularly in his vibrant twenties, Barry felt an undeniable urge to pursue a career in entertainment, drawn to its allure and energy. Recognizing the importance of building a solid foundation, he immersed himself in the fast-paced realm of radio broadcasting, where he meticulously honed his craft and developed his vocal presence. This hard work and determination eventually led him to a prestigious position at CBS Radio, where he skillfully navigated the intricacies of reporting news and traffic updates, all while laying the groundwork for the bright future he envisioned in show business.  Later he worked at WLS-TV Channel 7 ABC Chicago for many years.

In the spring of 1949, the legendary Frank Sinatra took a moment to reach out to his good friend Henry, sending a heartfelt letter that would capture a special moment in time. This correspondence, adorned with a vintage 3-cent stamp, was postmarked May 18, 1949, carrying with it the warmth of their friendship and the charm of Sinatra’s distinctive style. Inside, the words flowed with the sincerity and flair that only Sinatra could convey, making it not just a letter, but a cherished keepsake of their bond.

In early July 1999, a dynamic subsidiary of Burbank-based Dick Clark Productions Inc. proudly announced the opening of its ninth location, Dick Clark's American Bandstand Diner, in the bustling suburb of Schaumburg, Illinois. This vibrant eatery, which catered to patrons across the Midwest, East, and Texas, quickly became a popular destination. To enhance the diner’s lively atmosphere, the company hired Edwards as the Entertainment and Sales Manager - Disc Jockey. With his engaging personality and love for music, Edwards was tasked with creating an unforgettable experience for guests, making the diner not just a place to eat, but a lively hub of entertainment and fun. 

Barry Edwards has established himself as a prominent Executive Producer for television programs and concerts, where his creative vision shapes captivating entertainment experiences. Previously, he held the dynamic role of disc jockey and entertainment director for the iconic Dick Clark's American Bandstand AB Diner, where he engaged audiences with his infectious energy and passion for music. Additionally, Barry showcased his versatility by reporting traffic and weather for CBS News, demonstrating his ability to connect with viewers through diverse mediums. 

During that vibrant period, Barry mingled with some of the biggest stars, forging connections that would last a lifetime. His friendship with Dick Clark, along with many other prominent figures in the industry, has enriched his career and personal life. Even today, Barry's magnetic presence and charm make him a sought-after guest at exclusive private parties and lavish celebrity bashes, where he continues to celebrate the magic of showbiz alongside his illustrious peers.
